Why nothing has fully worked yet

Something worked. Then it stopped working.

You've done the elimination diet. You've got the supplement cabinet. You've got 5 providers and none of them talk to each other. Something helped, then you plateaued, and you've been guessing ever since.

What you think the problem is

You haven't found the right piece yet.

One more diet. One more specialist. One more protocol that went viral last week. More discipline.

What the problem actually is

You fixed one trigger and left the others running.

Including the one nobody ever mentioned to you: the nervous system stress that's been keeping the fire lit since long before your first flare.

The mechanism

Stop chasing the fire. Put it out at the source.

Everything else in AS care is reactive. Wait for the flare, knock it down, repeat. We work the other direction, and we do it in a way that survives contact with a real, busy, demanding life.

Kill every trigger, not one of them

Some triggers are mechanical. The foods that don't agree with your body, the toxins, the sleep you've never protected on purpose. A huge part is emotional, and it's the part everyone else skips entirely. Old trauma. Family stress. The formative stuff still running your subconscious and still holding your body in a stress response.

Low-friction habit engineering

Knowing your triggers is the easy part. Changing them without blowing up a life you're already running hard is the part nobody else solves for. So you don't get 5 overhauls at once. You get one change at a time, sequenced against what your own body's feedback says, so you're never choosing between healing and everything else you've built.

Your body becomes the data. Not a study on someone else. Not a protocol that went viral. You. That's why it keeps working after you stop needing me.

The 3-step system

3 steps, in the order your body can actually take them

You can't calm a nervous system that's still taking hits every day, and you can't rebuild a body that's still stuck in fight-or-flight.

Step 1

Remove your triggers

FoodPhysicalEmotionalSleepToxins

We find what's driving your inflammation and take it out, one thing at a time.

Step 2

Reset your nervous system

FasciaBreathworkProcessing emotions

We get your body out of fight-or-flight, so it stops manufacturing inflammation on its own.

Step 3

Fix your F'd-up body

MovementMobilityStrength

We rebuild the movement, mobility and strength that AS took off you.

What you get the moment you join

Everything I used, built into one room

No waiting list. No onboarding queue. You pay, you're in, and you start healing today.

The AS Reset Course

The whole methodology, broken into modules. Nutrition, breathwork, fascia, sleep, detox, strength training, and the emotional work running underneath all of it.

The Weekly Recovery Room

Live group calls every week. Bring your question, your flare, your plateau, your data. Recorded, so missing one costs you nothing.

The community

Radical people with AS doing this work at the same time as you. Post, ask, share what your tracking is telling you. You've walked this path alone long enough.

Missions and Side Quests

One change at a time, in order, so you always know what this week's job is instead of staring at a library.

The exercise libraries

Every movement, filmed and explained. Mobility, fascia work, breathwork, strength. You see exactly what it's meant to look like before you do it.

Follow-along sessions

Pre-recorded workouts you do with me, where I talk through what I'm doing and why, and what it's actually doing to your body.

Who's running this

I'm not a clinician reading you a study. I'm the guy who did it.

I've had ankylosing spondylitis since I was 12. I've been pain-free for over 3 years. Between those two sentences is about 20 years, and this is what happened in the middle.

Nobody diagnosed me as a kid. My spine just started locking up and nobody named it. It wasn't only my spine either. Pain in my pelvis and my SI joints. Pain in my feet so bad they prescribed expensive orthotics and called it plantar fasciitis. That's the thing about AS. It shows up all over your body and gets labelled as a dozen separate problems, so nobody connects the dots.

The onset lined up with a stretch of childhood trauma I was living through, which I didn't understand at the time and wouldn't understand for years. That's not a coincidence. With autoimmune conditions the first flare is often triggered by trauma. Mine was. My body went into fight-or-flight and forgot how to come back out.

Then it took basketball from me, the sport I loved more than anything. I was the fastest kid on the team. Then the summer between freshman and sophomore year, everything fell apart at once. My joints, my breathing, my energy. I showed up to varsity tryouts that fall and I was the slowest kid running drills. I didn't go back for the third day. I just quit. I was 15 and I already knew something was wrong with me that nobody could see.

It got worse in slow motion. After high school I couldn't run. In my early twenties I was working night shifts stocking groceries, some nights nearly unable to finish because my knees hurt that badly.

Then I had to give my puppy away. She needed walks I couldn't give her. After 6-8 months I had to rehome her, because my body wouldn't let me take her outside.

Giving away a dog because you're too broken to walk her is a specific kind of bottom. That was the one that made me stop waiting for someone to save me.

I started an elimination diet. First real thing I ever did for myself. Found out fast that nightshades were wrecking me. That was the first time I had proof that something I did changed how I felt. That proof is the whole method now, but back then it was just one desperate experiment that happened to work.

Around the same time, people stopped believing me. My boss got suspicious I was making it up, because he'd catch me moving quickly on a good day and not understand that AS flares and then backs off. A coworker studying to be a physiotherapist told me she didn't think I was that bad either. If you have AS, you already know that feeling.

I saw doctors. Mostly they didn't know. A few suspected AS or some other arthritic condition, but nobody handed me a plan. I researched biologics myself at 22, understood they suppress symptoms without touching the root cause, and decided they weren't a long-term answer for me. That wasn't a marketing position I adopted later. That was a kid in pain deciding he wanted an actual solution instead of a lifelong prescription.

EMT days, running calls on the ambulance

The real bottom came at 29. I'd become an EMT, running calls on an ambulance, finally making a bit of money. Then I tore my ACL. Surgery. No savings. I moved back in with my mom at 29 and felt like my whole life had run backward.

But while my leg healed I kept researching, and I started making money online writing health articles. When the leg was good again I left Seattle for Southeast Asia, somewhere warm and cheap enough that I could finally put money into my own health.

That's where I figured out the rest. Not all at once. In an order, one habit at a time, only moving to the next once the last one had actually settled in. That order became the 3 steps. The sequencing became the method.

Before and after

It took over 10 years from that first elimination diet to being pain-free at 35. I'm not going to pretend it was fast. But I did it with a spine that had deformed, a body that had quit on me at 15, and zero help from the people who were supposed to know.

Now I live in Bali and I coach people with the exact condition that almost took my life from me. I do it for a simple reason. I lost years to this. If I can hand what I learned to someone else, built into a system instead of a decade of trial and error, then mine weren't wasted.

The limit isn't your diagnosis. It's what you decided your diagnosis meant.

Before you join

This isn't for everyone, and I'd rather say so now

This is for you if

  • You've been diagnosed with AS, or you're stuck in the diagnostic maze and you're fairly sure that's what this is
  • You've done the standard playbook and it isn't taking you where you were told it would
  • You want a natural approach and you're done being told symptom management is the ceiling
  • You're willing to track your own data every day, including the boring days
  • You're ready to actually change your habits around food, movement, and sleep

This isn't for you if

  • You're looking for an instant cure, a magic pill, or a 6-week miracle
  • You want a protocol handed over without doing the tracking
  • You're not ready to change your habits around diet, exercise, and sleep
  • You're satisfied with managing pain as the end goal
  • You need to be convinced that investing in your own health is worthwhile before you'll consider it

Straight answers

The questions I get asked most

Is there a guarantee?

There isn't one. Officially, AS is incurable. What we're doing sits outside what medicine says is possible, so I'm not going to promise you an outcome.

What I'll tell you instead is that I've been pain-free for over 3 years, and I had a severe case that started at 12. If you're ready to hop on the train with me, all aboard.

Do I have to come off my biologic?

No. On biologics and staying on them? Fine. On them and want off? We can work toward that with your doctor. Never been on them and don't want to be? Also fine.

I don't have a position on your prescription. I have a position on everything your prescription doesn't touch.

Does this replace my rheumatologist?

No. This works alongside your existing medical care, not instead of it. I'm not a doctor and I'm not your rheumatologist. I'm the guy who's already walked the road you're on.

Your rheumatologist treats the disease. I'm handling 80% of your life that isn't happening inside his office.

What if I already have fusion or structural change?

Some of what's fused isn't coming back, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. You've had enough people promise you things.

But your pain levels, your energy, your gut, your nervous system, and your function inside the ranges you still have are all available to you. That's the work.

How much time does this take each week?

Less than you're afraid of. That's the entire point of doing it one change at a time instead of handing you 5 overhauls at once.

Every protocol you've found so far assumes you have unlimited time and nobody depending on you. This one is built around the fact that you don't.

I'm not officially diagnosed yet. Should I still join?

Yes, if you're fairly sure this is what you're dealing with. Plenty of people in the room spent years in the diagnostic maze. Mine took over a decade to get named.

Keep chasing the diagnosis with your doctor. Don't wait on it to start working on your triggers.

What happens right after I join?

You're in immediately. You start with Watch This First and Watch This Second, which lay out the thinking the whole system runs on, then read The AS Operating System.

After that you start Level 1 Missions and come to the next Weekly Recovery Room. No waiting, no onboarding queue.

Can I cancel?

Anytime. It's $47 a month, and you cancel yourself whenever you want.

Ready

The time is always now

There's always a reason to wait. A busy season, a big quarter, an inconvenient stretch. There's never a clean open window and there never will be. And every month you wait, the inflammation keeps working and your capacity keeps slipping, quietly, in ways that show up as a smaller version of the life you're building instead of one dramatic moment.

I'm proof it doesn't have to be your story. Let me show you the way out.
